School Enterprise Day

The 2engage ‘Enterprise Day’ is a business boot camp for schools and colleges. It’s a chance for your students to work in Apprentice-style teams and create a start-up business to compete against other new start-ups. Students will have the opportunity to get hands on with a range of business oriented exercises in competitive environments.

At the end of the day, teams will have to pitch their designs and ideas to a Dragons Den panel of judges. Putting students in mixed ability/level groups with the task of having to launch a brand new product will offer them the chance to develop and improve a range of skills, including:

  • Team work and understanding others.
  • Pitching and presentation skills.
  • Creativity and product development.
  • Time management.
  • Numeracy skills.
  • Literacy skills.
  • Leadership skills.

We have designed the challenges to be as real, innovative and engaging as possible, as well as linking in with the curriculum. Embedding enterprise awareness alongside other studies is a perfect reason to be off timetable for a few hours. Learners will tap into their creative skills, work with others, improve their collaboration skills and win prizes.

Depending on the length of the day and group size, we can bring along a professional film crew to record a TV advert campaign. This TV advert then becomes part of a group’s final pitch presentation.

A range of options are available for our ‘Enterprise Days’. For more information please get in touch.
