Here at 2engage performing arts we have extended our programme of workshops to focus upon training within businesses.
Educational drama has long been used as a methodology within the workplace. However, the methods that we aim to explore are not conventional management training strategies and 'group dynamics',‘role play’ and 'team building' are terms that we seek to avoid.
The methodology that we are proposing is derived from a theatre perspective, which explores human action and intention, vocal awareness and delivery.
In the words of the Greek proverb 'life is a stage, so learn to play your part'; that part being not reserved solely for the performer on the stage but equally as important for the performer at work.
Valuable for people who:
- Need to communicate effectively over the telephone
- Interact with clients over the phone in difficult situations
What we do:
We analyse the text - the scripts of both parties in order to discover how much of ourselves we reveal or conceal in order to produce an effective performance.
