Interview Skills Workshop


Almost everybody has experienced a job interview, but it’s never an enjoyable experience. Nobody is trained for an interview, and even employers aren’t great at them. That’s where 2engage come in. This workshop was designed for universities, colleges and schools to help young people prepare and perform better in interviews.

Key Aims:

  • Explore effective behavioural interview technique.
  • Explore the S.T.A.R interview approach.
  • Discuss Competency, Traditional, Group, Structured, Panel and Behavioural
  • Improve confidence and self-esteem.
  • Role play interviews to help gain confidence and offer guidance of how to deal with certain types of interview.

Using forum theatre, 2engage examine what makes a good interview, taking into account appropriate body language, confidence, effective communication and the initial meet and greet stage. Our participants become active observers, equipping them with the critical tools and freedom needed to analyse what good interview practice is.

After partaking in this highly interactive workshop, we want participants to approach future interviews with positivity and confidence, ensuring that they have the skills needed to become employed.
