Arts Award with 2engage

Apart from running workshop and educational performances, 2engage are also trained Arts Award advisers.  As official advisers we can help anyone between the age of 11-25 in achieving their Arts Awards qualification.

What is an Arts Award?

The Arts Awards gives young people between the ages of 11-25 the opportunity to express their creativity and get a nationally recognised qualification for it. This can be done in any area of the arts or media; from fashion to poetry, rapping to dance, photography to film. You can either be the creator or performer, or develop your skills in backstage or technical roles.

The Arts Award is flexible enough to fit around your other commitments and can be achieved at Bronze, Silver or Gold levels. You will end up with a portfolio that shows off your creativity and gives you a recognised national qualification to put on your CV.

Who can get an Arts Award qualification?

Everyone who is aged between 11-25 can apply for an Arts Award qualification. You can be an absolute beginner or very skilled in an art form.

What do you have to do?

You’ll be working together with 2engage and they will advise you on how you achieve your goals. You will do the following:

  • Work alone or in a group, but create an individual pla
  • Choose your arts activity and set personal challenges
  • Go to live arts events, explore, do, see and learn new things
  • Research arts careers and see how people get started
  • Organise your own projects
  • Share your arts skills with others
  • Put together a portfolio in your own choice or format

The project will be moderated by a moderator from Trinity College London. They will decide whether the project passes. Successful (pass) students will receive a certificate which is an nationally recognised qualification.

We can put young people through for their Arts Award in a number of projects.
